We’re excited to announce the release of FusionInvoice 2026-1.0 — one of the most significant updates in recent years.
This release introduces a powerful new Inventory Management System, full e-invoicing support through certified providers, a responsive design overhaul across core modules, and dozens of improvements and fixes throughout the platform.
Full E-Invoicing Support (Add-On)
FusionInvoice now integrates with certified international e-invoicing service providers for compliance across multiple networks, including:
- Peppol
- DBNAlliance
- FACeB2B
- Finvoice
What this means for you:
- Send compliant e-invoices directly through supported networks
- Attach e-invoice documents (PDF/A or XML) to invoice emails
- Custom field values supported within e-invoicing documents
- Improved entity registration workflow
This update positions FusionInvoice for government procurement, enterprise integrations, and modern cross-border compliance requirements.
Brand New Inventory Management System
Items (formerly “Item Lookups”) now include full inventory tracking capabilities built directly into FusionInvoice.
Key capabilities include:
- Track stock levels in real time
- Set minimum and maximum quantities with visual warnings
- Receive inventory and record stock adjustments
- Maintain full inventory transaction history
- Automatic inventory deduction when invoices are shipped
- “Make” vs. “Purchase” source types
- Standard costing and primary vendor assignment
Combined with the new Purchase Orders add-on, FusionInvoice now supports a complete purchasing and inventory lifecycle inside the platform.
Responsive Design Overhaul
We’ve redesigned major listing pages for improved mobile and tablet usability, significantly reducing horizontal scrolling on smaller screens.

Important Upgrade Notes
- This release includes UTF8MB4 database conversion for full emoji support. Ensure your MySQL/MariaDB server supports UTF8MB4 before upgrading.
- “Item Lookups” has been renamed to “Items.”
- “Expense Vendor” terminology has been simplified to “Vendor.”
- After upgrading, verify your add-ons are enabled and configured correctly.
